EMAP 2 PROJECT PROPOSAL
INTRODUCTION
The EMAP 2 (Erasmus Mundus Active Participation, Vol. 2) is a common project of 17
Erasmus Mundus National Structures. EMAP 2 aims to enhance and facilitate the
participation of higher education institutions from countries less or not sufficiently
represented in the Erasmus Mundus Action 1 (Joint Programmes). In order to achieve this
aim the project partners will identify and select consortia of higher education institutions as
potential applicants for new Erasmus Mundus Joint Programmes, and organize training
seminars in order to help them to prepare good quality applications.
In 2011, two training seminars for future Erasmus Mundus Master Courses consortia will be
organized in Poland (Warsaw / 28-29 January 2011) and Latvia (Riga / 18-19 February 2011).
The agenda will include general information on the Erasmus Mundus programme and
application procedure, further lectures will be given by experienced Erasmus Mundus
project representatives, and a considerable part of the programme will be dedicated to
consultations and guidance on individual project proposals. The project can cover the
expenses (travel, accommodation, meals) of three partners from one consortium.
The two years EMAP 2 project builds upon the experience of its predecessor, the EMAP
project (Erasmus Mundus Active Participation). For more information please go to
