Munster Cities U10 Hurling Blitz – Sept 12th Limerick 2009 A chairdi, Munster Council GAA welcomes you to the proud sporting city of Limerick and would like to thank you for entering the Munster Cities U10 Hurling Blitz 2009. This fantastic initiative has run for a number of years now. Last year in excess of 50 teams from Limerick, Cork & Waterford travelled to Cork and a similar number in 2007 to Waterford. It provides an ideal opportunity for coaches to assess team performance against 'foreign' opposition and also will give clubs an opportunity to make new contacts to play friendly games and blitzes against in the future. Finally many thanks to the clubs of Limerick (Old Christian’s, Ballybrown, St. Patrick’s and Monaleen) for staging the many blitzes and to the teams of Cork & Waterford for making the trip. Approximately 500childeren will play hurling on September 12th in a fun and enjoyable manner. I hope all have a great day! Íomáint Abú!
