3.
You may complete any combination of additional activities for up to 50 additional points of extra credit.
4.
Be sure to answer each question completely. It is your responsibility to demonstrate understanding. You may receive
partial credit for an answer, regardless of the question’s original point value.
5.
Your answers must be written in complete sentences. Questions worth 15 points require a minimum of a one-paragraph
response. Thirty point questions require at least two paragraphs, and 50 point questions require at least four paragraphs.
6.
Cite your sources using the correct MLA format. A minimum of five different sources should be consulted to answer the
required questions. Your citations should follow your answers; if you use the same source to answer two different
questions, cite it as a part of both answers. You will probably need to use more than one source for some of the higher-value
questions; cite them all!
7.
Clearly identify each of your answers by category and point value. You may choose to set up your paper as in the
illustration on the right.
8.
Answers should be written in your own words. If you need to quote a source, be sure to cite it correctly. Plagiarism will
not be tolerated and will result in a failing grade for the entire assignment.
