Towson University Project Serve 2016

Towson University Project Serve 2016
Project Serve is a great way to start your college career! This pre-orientation program allows freshmen
and transferring students to get involved before the fall semester even begins. They have the opportunity
to spend time with other incoming students who are also interested in community service.
Project Serve will take place Monday, August 22nd – Thursday, August 25th. Participating students who
will live in university & Capstone residence halls will move in early on Monday, August 22nd. Students
who will be commuting from off-campus may stay in the University Marriott hotel for an additional fee. The
$125 participation fee will cover food and transportation for the three days.
The application will be open until Friday, July 1st. Students interested in living in the Tigers Serving
Others Residential Community, should apply by Friday, June 3rd. Students who are members of the
Honors College may participate in Project Serve and attend an alternate Honors College Orientation
during Welcome to Towson. Students who are athletes, members of the Tiger Marching Band, or the
SAGE pre-orientation program are not able to participate in Project Serve.
Space is limited to 100 students. The $125 application fee will be charged to the students' bursar account
and may be paid with the fall tuition. Scholarships are available. For more information about Project Serve
