Towson University Project Serve 2016 Project Serve is a great way to start your college career! This pre-orientation program allows freshmen and transferring students to get involved before the fall semester even begins. They have the opportunity to spend time with other incoming students who are also interested in community service. Project Serve will take place Monday, August 22nd – Thursday, August 25th. Participating students who will live in university & Capstone residence halls will move in early on Monday, August 22nd. Students who will be commuting from off-campus may stay in the University Marriott hotel for an additional fee. The $125 participation fee will cover food and transportation for the three days. The application will be open until Friday, July 1st. Students interested in living in the Tigers Serving Others Residential Community, should apply by Friday, June 3rd. Students who are members of the Honors College may participate in Project Serve and attend an alternate Honors College Orientation during Welcome to Towson. Students who are athletes, members of the Tiger Marching Band, or the SAGE pre-orientation program are not able to participate in Project Serve. Space is limited to 100 students. The $125 application fee will be charged to the students' bursar account and may be paid with the fall tuition. Scholarships are available.
