Canada Day
The Sundridge – Strong
Recreation Committee is
hosting their annual Canada Day Celebration on
Saturday, July 2nd – Parade starts at 4:00pm –
Lots of musical entertainment and activities
planned – Fireworks at
dusk – In case of rain the
activities will be held at
the SSJ Arena Rain date
for fireworks the following
day. Come join the fun!
Community Achievement BBQ
On June 4th from 1:PM4:PM The Village of Sundridge is hosting a BBQ
that features the opening
of the splash pad, live music, free canoe/ Kayak
lessons and awards to
recognize volunteers
around the village of Sundridge.

Concert In the Park
Paul Whittfield will be
hosting a free concert in
the park on Sunday August 14h from 2pm-4pm
featuring his many talented students bring a
lawn chair and enjoy the
abundance of local talent.
Lions Park Beach
During the summer be
sure to visit the Village of
Sundridge Lions Park offering a boat launch,
splash pad, beach, picnic
area and washrooms open
until 8pm.
Triathlon Update
We are looking for volunteers to help organize
a fun run or bike as the
triathlon has been cancelled this year. Next
meeting is June 7th at

Sunflower Festival Weekend August 5th
& 6th
The Sundridge Sunflower
Festival is sure to be a
fun filled weekend. The
festival will be held Fri,
Aug 5th & Sat, Aug 6th.
Friday night there will be
the Royal Canadian Legion dinner and also feature an Outdoor Movie
Night. On Saturday
there will be an outdoor
market, music, and activities throughout the Village
and at the waterfront.
Please be prepared for
Main Street to be closed to
traffic as this is the location of the Main Street
Market. The festival will
be held at the SSJ Arena
in the event of rain. For
