Dear Premier Head Coaches,
As a Premier League Head Coach and/or Parent, you already know the difference you are
making in the lives of the players on your team this season. This season we are going to ask
that you also help us make a difference in the Oconee County community in the fight against
cancer.
With your assistance, we would like to support a Coaches vs. Cancer initiative founded by
the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NBAC) with the 4th Annual 3-on-3
Basketball Tournament on Sunday, January 31, 2016 (1:00pm - 7:00pm) at Oconee County
Veterans Park Gym for boys and girls in 3rd - 7th grades. Last year we had 38 teams
participate in this event and we hope to have even more this year. Everyone who
participates will receive a tournament t-shirt and chances to win prizes, including Fox's Pizza
for a year!
Cancer has touched so many of our lives, so here is how you as a head coach or parent can
help.
We are asking each head coach and parent to lead the way and rally your team to participate
with the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Please work together to complete the following:

Build teams of 3-4 boys or 3-4 girls
•
Each parent must complete and sign the following:

Individual registration form
Oconee County Parks & Recreation Waiver
(Go to Registration at www.oconeecounty.com/ocprd)

One parent or coach must complete the team registration
•
Checks made payable to Oconee County Parks & Recreation Department ($50.00
per Team)
•
Drop off registration packet at front desk at Oconee County Veterans Park Gym. The
deadline is January 22, 2016 by 7:30pm.
