The Charlie lorms tournament
June 3rd – September 3rd, 2017
Format:
Four-Ball Match Play Net: Pick your own partner. Two partners play their better ball against the
better ball of two other partners.
Handicaps:
All teams seeded by the combined handicap indexes according to USGA guidelines as of
Thursday, June 1st. Current USGA handicaps will be used for each match. Matches will be
played at 100% of the difference off the low handicap player in each group.
Schedule:
Pairings will be posted Tuesday, May 30th on the bulletin board in the golf shop. The first match
must be played by Sunday, June 25th. Each subsequent match must be played by the date
specified on the match play sheet. The final match must be played by Sunday, September 3rd.
No extensions will be permitted. A 1:00 tee time will be scheduled on the final day of each
deadline. The team that is available on the deadline date will advance (Only one player
necessary). One on One matches are approved.
Tees:
Play is from the Green Tee Markers – Individuals over the age of 65 may play from the White Tee
Markers
Rules:
USGA rules will govern all play, except as amended by the local rules listed on the back of the
scorecard.
Prizes:
Trophies will be awarded to the winning team.
Entry fee:
$20 per team.
