Our focus value for our Collective Worship this half term is Compassion.
Great to see so many smart children in their school uniform: Black school shoes, not trainers, are
required.
Monday 26 September is our annual Harvest Festival at St Andrew’s Church. You are very welcome
to join the children. We invite each family to bring donations for the church food bank. Pasta, tinned
food, washing items are all very much appreciated.
Monday 26 September is also European Languages Day. Each class will be discovering a different
country from Europe. If you have any items, books, food, stories or clothes from that country and are
happy to share it, we are hoping to create a simple display in the hall in the afternoon. Rabbit class
are looking at: Italy; Squirrel class = Germany; Badgers = Spain; Owl class = France. There will be
a gathering assembly at 3:00 – and as always you are welcome to join in the fun.
Please note that Owl Class are trialling a new behaviour strategy called ClassDojo. You can find out
more by searching: www.classdojo.com This celebrates good behaviour by sharing examples with
parents and carers as well as letting home know when poor choices were made in school.
