Advantages
Your giving increases significantly
– at no extra cost to you
Tax is reclaimable on all Gift Aided donations
– with no minimum amount
Declarations can apply to future donations indefinitely, but can
be cancelled immediately should your circumstances change
– with no minimum period of commitment
One Gift Aid Declaration can be used to reclaim tax on any
donation e.g. for a special appeal, as well as your valued regular
giving – no need for separate forms

How are we able to recover tax?

As a charity, Elim Foursquare Gospel Alliance (EFGA) is
exempt from income tax on its income

Individual UK tax payers make donations to the charity

EFGA recovers the basic rate tax on these donations

At current rates of tax, even starting rate tax payers can
safely donate up to £4 for every £1 tax paid

Every £10 donated through Gift Aid is worth £12.50 to the
Church
