Celebrities confirmed for free concert in aid of The Lord’s Taverners
Celebrities from the world of television, sport, music and comedy will be coming to
Guernsey next month to join Islanders at a free concert in Market Square, courtesy of
JT.
JT’s Celebrity Market Rocks, in aid of The Lord’s Taverners, will be held on Friday 23
June and the line up has now been confirmed as;
16:45 – Brandi - Street dancing
17:30 - Honest Crooks
18:30 - Element 6
19:30 - KINGS
20:30 - Buffalo Huddleston
With top Island folk-hop band Buffalo Huddleston headlining, the evening promises to
be a celebration of quality local music and dance.

Dead Ringers impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw
Comedian Ian Irving
Game of Thrones actor Struan Rodger
Cricketers Andy Caddick, Martyn Ball and Michael Bell
Ex-Eastenders star Lorraine Chase
Crime fiction writer Felix Francis
Many more celebrities are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
JT’s Celebrity Market Rocks forms part of The Lord’s Taverners annual Summer
Celebrity Cricket Weekend, which JT is pleased to support for the seventh year
running.
A Quiz Night, hosted by Chris Tarrant on Saturday 24 June is already fully booked but
tickets are still available for the popular Celebrity Cricket Match in Herm on Sunday 25
June.
JT Deputy Managing Director, Tamara O’Brien, said: “Once again, celebrities from some
our favourite programmes and most popular sports will be in Guernsey and Herm to
raise money for an incredibly worthy cause. The new addition to this year’s programme
– JT’s Celebrity Market Rocks – means that many of them will be rubbing shoulders
with Islanders in what promises to be a memorable night of free entertainment.”

Saturday 24 June - St Pierre Park Hotel, doors at 6pm for Chris Tarrant’s Quiz Night,
quiz begins at 7pm sharp.
Sunday 25 June - Herm Island, 9.30am or 10.15 am, depart Guernsey to Herm to enjoy
the Celebrity Cricket Match sponsored by JT with the Herm Lobster Lunch, and the now
famous Lord’s Taverners Auction. Presentation of trophies and the Trident back to
Guernsey at 6.30 pm - £90 per head and tables of 12 are availible.
