Address Book with Reminder
Introduction
With this Add-on you can get following capabilities:

Maintain customer details like Birthday, Anniversaries etc.

Set reminders for VAT Return, Statutory payments etc.

Group-wise address and label printing option.

Search address through multiple search option.

Monthly reminder report with multiple filtration options like Day-wise, Period-wise, Subject-wise & Partywise.

Multiple reminder alteration/creation support.
Important!
As a best practice it is advisable to take back up of your company data
before installing the add-on
Setup Guide
1. Activate the Add-on
For Tally.ERP 9 Series A version lower than Release 3.2
Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > Accounting Features
Set “Yes” to the options “Enable Address Book with reminder”
For Tally.ERP 9 Series A Release 3.2 and above
Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > Add-on Features
Set “Yes” to the options “Enable Address Book with reminder”

2. Add-on details with images
Go to Gateway of Tally -> Display->Address Book with Reminder
Note: You can alter any ledger by selecting the alter option.
a) To create a new Address:
Gateway of Tally > Display > Address Book with Reminder > Create
Search Text: In this field, capture a Keyword. You can search using this keyword while printing labels.

b) Set Reminder for customer/ledger

Gateway of Tally > Display > Address Book with Reminder > Create/Alter

Set “yes” to the option Reminder

A Reminder / Notes screen pops up. You can set reminders.
c) Create/ Alter Multiple Ledgers
Gateway of Tally > Display > Address book with reminder > Alter Multiple
You can alter information as well as set reminders for ledger.
d) Alter/create multiple Reminders
Gateway of Tally > Display > Address Book with Reminder > Alter Multiple > Select Group > Set “Yes” to
Reminder column to alter/create reminder

e) To view “Reminder Report”
Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Address Book with Reminder > Reminders (under ‘Reports’)
Multiple filter options are provided to view desired reports
F2 -Date filtration
Alt+S - filter Subject wise.
F4 - filter party wise
F5 - display or hide lines in reports.
Alt+ R -Filter for a given period
While loading the company, set yes to the option “Show Reminders”. Tally will navigate you to the report
which displays reminders for current month. Press Esc or No to move to “Gateway of Tally”.
You can set dates, select a month with or without dates, select Year. The reminder report shows
accordingly.
To search based on Subject, select Alt+S

To select reminders Party wise or ledger-wise, select F4 (Party wise)
To show or hide lines in reminder report, select F5
To view reminders for a given period, select Alt+R
Address Label
Gateway of Tally > Display > Address Book with Reminder > Address Label > Select Group >
The address labels will be shown on screen
Search address labels by selecting ‘Search text’ (on the top right hand corner)
Enter the keyword assigned while creating Ledgers.

To print Labels press (ALT+P)
Default dimension of paper.
Paper size specified
Note – Dimension set by default if required then it may be changed.

h) Remove Post Reminder
Gateway of Tally > Display > Address Book with Reminder > Reminder Report > Enter
Set “Yes” at reminder, and then press ‘Esc’ to remove date and save. The reminder will be removed.

This add-on will work only with Tally.ERP 9 Series A, release 3.0 onwards.
