**We want to ensure a safe turnaround spot. There is construction going at the time of this flyer publication so the
9-12 age distance and turnaround location will be determined ASAP but could vary.
There is a feed-zone near the S/F area for the 2 lap race but NO parking! Prepare to drop off coolers
and people! OR walk to the feed-zone
Junior Stage Race podiums & IMPORTANT DETAILS and RULES
• Podiums will take place in the afternoon at 2:30pm for the time trial AND the crit.
• Podiums will take place as soon as results are final for the RR and the overall for a give field.
• Points are awarded for the top 15 in each race. If a rider places in the top 15 and did not complete the
previous stage, his or her points go to the next rider who did.
• If a rider fails to finish a stage, he or she WILL be allowed to start the next stage and IS eligible for

prizes of the next stage but earns no more points and is NOT eligible for the overall podium. They do
not lose their points, but in the event a rider places in the overall his or her place will be given to the
next highest rider that completed all 3 stages. They will be moved to a placing in the overall that is
directly behind a rider with ANY points that did all 3 stages.
There are prizes for the top 3 in each race in each category. The overall top 3 riders will receive custom
KCJSR trophies. The 3 events are: Time Trial, Criterium and Road Race.
Points are as follows: 1st, 20pts, 2nd, 17pts, 3rd, 16pts, 4th, 14pts, 5th, 13pts, 6th, 11pts, 7th, 9pts, 8th,
8pts 9th, 7pts, 10th, 6pts 11th, 5pts 12th, 4pts 13th, 3pts 14th, 2pts 15th, 1pt. Prizes are merchandize
for each stage, custom trophies for the overall in each category
Centerline rule strictly enforced for the road race
Watch for snakes in the feed-zone, not joking! Keep the roadway clear and safe
Medical will be located near registration/venue proper at the top of the track and at S/F for road race
