Leicestershire & Rutland County FA, The FA, England Handball and StreetGames would like to invite you to take part
in a secondary school sport festival.
Friday 28th March
9am – 12:15pm or 1:00 – 4:00pm
Crown Hills Community College, Gwendolen Road, Evington, Leicester, LE5 5FT
For girls aged 14 – 18 years old.
The StreetGames ‘Us Girls’ programme will be supporting the event by offering access to health and wellbeing
services and opportunities to receive free mini beauty treatments; providing a perfect complement to the handball
and football activities. These additional wellbeing offers will make the event feel like a day out for the girls and give
them some time to dedicate to themselves.
There will also be an interactive trailer with iPads/Wii games and the FA WSL trophy. There’ll be batak boards to test
speed reaction, a speed shot, target shoot and 4 v 4 inflatable pitch. You can meet stars of the FA WSL and the
mascot, Berry the Bear.
The festival is free to enter, although places are limited and attendance will be reserved on a first come, first served
basis. The festival will be on a mixture of 3G and indoor sports hall. Students should wear trainers and appropriate
clothing.
You’re welcome to bring as many players as you wish (minimum 5) and we will facilitate their participation on the
day. We’d encourage you to bring ‘semi-sporty’ girls, who may not have played much sport before – this is all about
them having fun and giving it a go!

I am signing as teacher on behalf of children aged under 16 years. I agree to their participation in the FA Girls
Football Festival being held at Crown Hills Community College on Friday 28th March. I agree to be present at the FA
Girls’ Football Festival whilst the children participate. I recognise that football is a physical sport and as such has
some inherent risk. (Please note – Shinpads must be worn in both football and handball).
On behalf of myself, my heirs, executor, administrator and assigns, I hereby release and forever discharge The
Football Association, its parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional
or judging agencies from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries,
damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained directly or indirectly as a result of the of my
participation in connection with the Event, or while preparing for and/or participating in any Event-related activity
including without limitation, any personal injury, property damage and/or death which may occur and all risks
