To play THE GAME OF LIFE ZappED you’ll need:
• All the bits in this box
• THE GAME OF LIFE ZappED app from the App Store on your iPad.
Game Board, Rubber
Pads, 4 Car Movers,
52 Pegs, Money
Pack.
Throughout the game, players will take turns to spin the virtual spinner on the
iPad and then move their car around the physical board. Depending on where
you land, you may play a mini game, earn a virtual life token or watch a clip.
When all players get to the RETIRE space, the game ends!

How to win
• Stick a rubber pad onto each of the white
circles on the board. Leave them on
permanently.
• It’ll be easier for everyone to see the
screen if you sit around the board like this:
• Get it fully charged and
turn up the sound!
• Remove all covers
(put them back on after
you’ve finished playing)
and place it on top of
the rubber pads.
If you’re the player with the most money once everyone’s retired, you win!

Start the app
1. Open the app and tap Start new game. Read the on-screen instructions.
2. Take turns to create a peg profile on the iPad by typing in your name and choosing a virtual car
and peg. Once you’ve chosen, take a matching color peg and car and place them on the START
space on the board.
3. Once you’ve all created a peg, spin the virtual spinner to see who goes first.
Now you’re ready to play!
In real life, it’d be bad to miss

The iPad will ask you to enter how much of THE GAME OF LIFE money you have earned during
the game. The iPad will then award you your virtual LIFE tokens and $10K per baby.

How do I pause the game?
Press the Home button to exit the app. To continue your game, reopen the app. Your game will be
saved as long as your iPad remains charged.
How do I start a new game?
Press the Home button on your iPad to exit the app. Reopen the app. It will ask you if you want to
continue the game. Tap ‘No’. Then choose ‘Start new game’.
Where can I get more help?
If you’re wondering what to do on your turn, check the Quick Tips box on the bottom-left of your
screen (if it’s hidden tap the question mark). If you need to check the instructions on the app, tap
the book icon.
