U18 (Youth Girls)
Team Numbers
Minimum of 9 Players. Can play up to
12 a side. On a game day, if a team
only has 9 players, then the game
will be a 9-a-side match.
If both teams have 12 players, game
will be a 12-a-side match with
substitutes.
Minimum of 12 players. Can play up
to 15-a-side. On a game day, if a team
only has 12 players, then the game
will be a 12-a-side match.
If both teams have 15 players, game
will be a 15-a-side match with
substitutes.
Minimum of 15 players. Can play up to
18-a-side. On a game day, if a team
only has 15 players, then the game can
be a 15-a-side match.
If both teams have 18 players, game
will be a 18-a-side match with
substitutes.

Bouncing

One bounce only is allowed
A mark is awarded irrespective of the
distance the ball has travelled to any
player who catches it or shows

A mark is awarded, irrespective of the
distance the ball has travelled, to any
player who catches it or makes a
reasonable attempt to mark it.
Three bounces only are allowed
A mark is awarded when a player
catches the ball directly from another
player’s kick that has travelled at least
15 metres.

From a kick, a free is awarded
against the player who last kicked
the ball.
From the hands, or if there is doubt,
the umpire shall call a ball-up 10m in
from the boundary
