Kids Should Not Be Allowed To Play Non-Educational Games at School By Brenton I believe Kids should not be allowed to play non-educational games because of the following reasons… Firstly, I believe that non-educational games take up useful time that could be spent on learning things. By letting kids play these games during school hours we are filling their heads with useless content distracting them when they could be learning. Secondly, as all teachers would agree, school is supposed to teach kids viable things for the future while having fun. Non-educational games are fun but don’t teach you a thing. All they do is stimulate your brain. These games should be played at home. If your teacher gives you free time on the computers all the time, I suggest you switch schools because you aren’t learning a thing. Thirdly, if your teacher gives you free time on the computer, they obviously are not qualified to be a teacher. They put you on the computer to distract the kids rather than teaching them like they should be. That’s another reason to switch schools for your own benefit. Finally, if you are giving kids time on non-educational games, it changes their viewpoint of the school. They think, “This school is awesome because it gives me free time on the computer”. By doing this you are making them do less things outside than inside, as well as making them unsocial people. In conclusion, I believe that kids should not play non-educational games because they don’t learn anything, it stimulates the brain, it is bad teaching, and non-educational games makes kids unsocial people.
