Junior Golf - Summer Series 2015
The 2015 summer junior golf program is offered to boys and girls from ages 5 to 18 with skill levels
from beginner to advanced. The schedule will include a series of weekly group clinics that will cover
the full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, sand play, course management and the rules of golf.
At the completion of the series, we will conduct a skills challenge and hold a Junior Club
Championship Tournament. The cost for the summer program is $75 per junior. High School
Champions Group is $100. Junior tournament entry fees will be separate. **NEW** for 2015 will be
Fall Series continuation at no additional charge (See Dates Below).
We do request that 5 - 7 year old juniors be accompanied by an adult (one adult for every 2 kids). Also,
if you don’t own clubs, we have clubs available for juniors to borrow.
Our mission is to introduce juniors to the game of golf and provide them with the basic skills to learn
how to play on the course. Juniors will be placed into groups based on their age and/or current skill
level. Clinics will be held each week on either Wednesdays or Fridays, depending on your age.
Groups will meet at the following times:
Wednesdays – Ages 11 & OVER – 7:30 am – 9:00 am
Fridays
– Ages 10 & UNDER – 7:30 am – 9:00 am
Wednesdays – Champions Group – 3:00pm – 5:00pm
(must be member of a high school or middle school golf team)
Friday, May 2nd – Spring Adult-Junior Scramble 9-Holes (separate entry fee)

Double Oaks juniors (junior members, dependents, high school players)
Fall Series (Fee Included with Summer Series Entry –No Additional Charge) – Each
monthly class will focus on a different aspect of the game, i.e. Full Swing, Short Shots, Putting, Rules
of Golf, and Etiquette. Fall Series Program Dates–August 23rd, September 20th, & October 18th –
Fall series times: 2:00p.m. – 3:00p.m.

WITH PAYMENT. THERE ARE LIMITED SPACES FOR EACH CLINIC – ENTRIES WILL BE
ACCEPTED IN THE ORDER THEY ARE RECEIVED.

contact Double Oaks Golf Club program administrators in advance of the summer series to resolve
