Tenth Annual New York Arts Experience April 27 – 30, 2017 Tour Details, Price and Payment Schedule, and Cancellation Policy Thank you for your interest in Artistry’s tenth annual group excursion to New York City. Please read all of the following information carefully before registering and making a deposit. We will provide any additional information of interest as it becomes available. The Artistry tour package includes: Roundtrip airfare on Delta Airlines to and from Minneapolis/St. Paul and ground transportation to and from our hotel. Our flight to New York is currently scheduled to leave MSP on April 27 at 7:00 a.m. and arrive at La Guardia at 10:43 a.m. Our return flight is currently scheduled to leave La Guardia at 4:30 on April 30 and arrive at MSP at 6:50 p.m. Delta may change these times before our departure. Hotel accommodations at the elegant Marriott Marquis in the heart of Times Square (including hotel taxes and baggage handling fees) for April 27-30. The hotel is conveniently located at 1535 Broadway Avenue. Pre-departure orientation session led by Artistry, including background information on the shows we’ll see. Tickets to three Broadway shows yet to be announced. A welcome luncheon at Le Rivage restaurant on the afternoon of our arrival. Brunch at The Glass House Tavern. A closing brunch at a restaurant to be announced. A seminar just for our group with a Broadway insider. Time for additional activities of your choice. Price and Payment Schedule New York Arts Experience Tour prices are based on the number of occupants per room: Double Occupancy (per person) $2,550 Single Occupancy (per person) $2,950 We cannot guarantee reduced prices for participants who choose to book their own flights (or make other travel arrangements) to and from New York City. The tour is priced as a package, and we must guarantee to Delta Airlines a certain number of roundtrip travelers. If and when we meet our minimum utilization, we will be happy to reduce the price of the trip for travelers who wish to make their own arrangements on a first come, first served basis, but we cannot guarantee any reductions. Travelers may accumulate Delta frequent flyer miles for the New York trip, but frequent flyer miles may not be used to pay for the tickets or for any upgrades, e.g., to first class. Each traveler is allowed one carry-on bag up to the maximum size set by Delta. Travelers may check a bag at their own cost. We request that Delta seat our travelers with their spouses (when applicable) or other traveling companions, but we cannot guarantee that Delta will honor our request. The price of the trip does not include incidental charges such as room service at the hotel. Restaurant gratuities are included for the meals at Le Rivage, the Glass House Tavern, and our third restaurant yet to be announced. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase by travelers. (continued) A minimum deposit of $500 per traveler will be charged to your credit card when you register, or you may pay your $500 deposit by check with your registration form. Payment of the deposit indicates acceptance of the program as outlined above. PLEASE NOTE: all theater tickets and hotel and tour reservations are subject to change based on availability at registration. Payment may be made in full when you register or according to the following schedule (per traveler): $500 deposit at the time of registration. $1,250 on January 13, 2017. If registration is made after 1/13/17, the $500 deposit plus $1,250 (a total of $1,750) will be due at time of registration. Final payment of any remaining balance on March 1, 2017. Payments will be charged to the credit card number you provide with your registration form on the dates outlined above. If you prefer to pay by check, we will contact you and remind you when payments are due. Walking Required / Waiver of Liability / Acknowledgment of Risk Artistry provides bus transportation between the airport and hotel, but transportation for all other group activities is on foot. Taxi rides can be difficult to get before and after the theater. Accordingly, travelers must be able to walk distances of up to three-quarters of a mile on extremely crowded, uneven sidewalks either independently or with the assistance of their own traveling companions. Artistry cannot provide personal assistance for travelers who may find walking difficult under these conditions. Every traveler will be required to sign a waiver of liability/acknowledgment of risk form before our departure. The operative language on the form is as follows: “In consideration of the opportunity to participate in the Arts Experience, with full knowledge and acceptance of the risks associated with it, and with full understanding of the above issues/conditions, I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Artistry and its employees, directors and officers, and agents from all form and manner of risks inherent in the Arts Experience, and from all claims and demands of any nature arising from my participation in it. This waiver shall extend to the broadest extent allowed by law under MINN. STAT. § 604.055. Should I choose to continue travelling following the conclusion of the Arts Experience, I fully recognize that the Arts Experience will have come to an end, and I voluntarily agree that I will be assuming all risks incidental to my continued travel.” Cancellation Policy If Artistry cancels the tour, a full refund will be made to all participants. If the tour is cancelled because of circumstances outside Artistry’s control, a full refund will be made less the cost of the theater tickets and any other non-refundable items, such as airline tickets, which have been purchased on behalf of the group as of the cancellation date. If a participant cancels and we are able to replace him or her, Artistry will refund to the canceling participant all but the amount we have spent on non-transferable purchases. If a participant cancels and we are not able to replace him or her, Artistry will charge a cancellation fee based on the following schedule: Before departure 90 days and over 61 to 89 days 31 to 60 days 30 days or less Portion of total price charged as cancellation fee 15% 30% 45% 100% Travelers who are concerned about cancellations may wish to purchase trip insurance from a third party. Artistry does not provide trip insurance.
