2011 Under 16 Southern Stars AFL Representative Program Outline:
Championships: Thursday 3rd November until Sunday 6th November
Selection of Squad: The Official squad of 22 and 3 Emergencies will be selected on Thursday 29th
September and will be released on the following website; www.darlingdowns.aflq.com.au – Will
need to hover your mouse over Girls Football and click on the Under 16 Southern Stars link. Please
read carefully and follow directions if you are selected.
Player Levy: $750.00
The Player levy includes: Transport (Flights and Buses in Cairns), Accommodation, All Meals, Team
Polo, Travel Shorts, Playing Shorts, Playing Socks and Jersey.
Government Subsidy: With the Championships in Cairns, selected squad members have the
opportunity to apply for the Queensland Governments Young Athlete Assistance Program. Please
read the attached forms to see if you are eligible;
Official Squad + Emergencies Official Training Sessions: All Squad members will be required to
attend all sessions; unless valid reason.
