Title of Position: Head Coach
Job Duties:











Identify strength and areas for improvement for any age of athletes
and/or coaches;
Plan, develop and execute training and practice the highest level of
stunting AND tumbling;
Engage with all ages – both athletes and coaches – to nurture and
develop skills and talent for highest potential through strong
communication skills;
Motivate and mentor athletes or young coaches for the highest level of
competition;
Create workable strategies for success to prepare each athlete for the
next level, during regular practices as well as competitions;
Teach and spot high level, advanced level 5 tumbling to athletes of all
ages
Train our current coaching staff for advanced level training techniques in
the highest level of tumbling and stunting, as well as routine
choreography;
To teach the acrobatic stunting side of our sport including being able to
spot for safety, teach the most up to date stunting techniques and
choreograph stunting components in our routines
Choreograph cutting edge routines that will score well on the
international level of competition. These routines will compete at the
World Championships of Cheerleading.
Assist with owners in developing higher caliber coaches with a training
plan and/or;
Facilitate with parents or caregivers of athletes to encourage and
motivate to support athletes.
Terms of Employment: Permanent basis, Full Time
Wage: $52,000.00 per annum

4 locations of works in Ontario – Cambridge, Ancaster, Milton and Ottawa

Minimum Requirement:
1. University graduate (4 years at min): Kinesiology, Sport Science
or Psychology degree preferred;
2. At least 4 years of collegiate cheerleading experience;
3. At least 8 years of coaching competitive cheerleading;
4. Gymnastics coaching Level 5+ (USASF Certification) for a
minimum of 8 years
5. Min. 10 years of coaching experience at a high level in both
tumbling and competitive cheerleading
6. Choreography experience for a minimum of 4 years
7. CPR/First Aid certified
8. USASF Certification (Level 5 in both stunting and tumbling)
9. International cheerleading coaching experience is an asset
10. Coaching Experience at all ages an asset
