In some countries the introduction of the DCC will require official approval. At the time of writing, this approval is not yet available for the following countries: China, New Zealand. Communication of the introduction of the DCC will therefore take place subject to the agreement of the appropriate government agency in each case. The current exceptions are: Hong Kong, Iran and Lybia . The DCC is based on the extra costs the LH Group incurs through GDS bookings by comparison with bookings made directly with LH Group How the Distribution Cost Charge is calculated DCC CHF 16.per ticket The DCC shown in this calculation does not completely cover the GDS costs incurred by Lufthansa Group airlines. Third-party sales for Lufthansa Group airlines still contain at least part of the costs corresponding to the costs of direct sales. There will be two ways to access corporate rates at LH.com: LHGroup-agent.com provides travel agents with access to current flights, prices, general information and online ticketing. via access code at LH.com via individual corporate intranet In addition the address and VAT number of the company will be quoted automatically on the passenger receipt. 9 Available globally in 90 countries/12 languages for bookings with Lufthansa Group airlines.
