ADVENTURE PLAY
Active Medlock
Tuesday 1.00pm - 2.00pm
Thursday 1.00pm - 2.00pm
Most of what babies learn about the world is
through touch. Touching is fantastic stimulation for
your babies brain and in many cases can assist with
settling babies for quiet time or naps. So, we’ve
teamed up our sensory experience with messy
playtime. You will enjoy experiencing first hand their
sheer delight as your child discovers new feelings
and sensations in our fun sensory and messy
play sessions. You and your child will be amazed
by our multi-sensory room, featuring light, sound
and a range of specialised equipment designed to
create an environment that is used for relaxation
and calming. It delivers proven benefits across all
age ranges and from moderate to profound special
needs too.
Adventure Play is designed to encourage your child
to enjoy being active through exploring our soft play
environment. Appealing to your child’s sense of
adventure they will discover a new world of colours,
shapes and textures as they satisfy their curiosity
having fun on our special designed play equipment.
Through structured play sessions your child will
develop valuable social and physical skills at the
same time as having oodles of fun!

STAY & PLAY
Active Ken Ward
Monday 4.00pm - 4.55pm
Stay and Play is an excellent opportunity for you and
your child to explore our Gym Tots soft play area.
Stay and Play is very similar to our Gym Tots classes
with the exception of a gymnastics coach not being
present. Your child will enjoy exploring a range of
soft toys, climbing, crawling through our soft tunnel
and much more. Stay and Play gives your child lots
of opportunities to burn their endless bags of energy
in a creative and fun environment.
Babies need to be physically active from the time
they are born. Greater Sport have develop Let’s Play
baby programme to challenge your babies senses
and encourage them to explore. Let’s Play teaches
your child fun techniques to develop stretching,
kicking, looking, grabbing, wiggle and wriggling.
Lots of movements are common sense and some
obvious, but we all need reassuring and reminding.
Come along to Let’s Play and let your child explore
inside and out. Let their brain connect, learning how
their body moves from experience. Let them Play!

All little ones are full of energy and there’s no better
way to expand this than with a bit of jumping
around. Our Little Bouncers classes offer an
introduction into the world of trampolining. Your
child will have lots of fun throughout each lesson,
what is more, jumping requires lots of co-ordination
helping your child develop balance and agility. At the
same time, each class will encourage your child to
evolve their independence and sense of safety.
Little Ducks lessons are a great way to develop
your child’s swimming ability and confidence in and
out of the water. Our Little Ducks lessons are the
next step on from Ducklings and a platform for our
Learn to Swim programme. Your child can begin
Little Ducks from the age of 3, up until their 5th
birthday. Providing your child is confident enough,
from their 4th birthday you can enrol them on our
Learn to Swim programme. Throughout their Little
Ducks journey your child will work towards a set
of outcomes and achievements. Each grade of the
Little Ducks Awards contains six components that
must be passed before the Award is given, but the
outcomes may be accumulated over a number of
sessions.
Your child can enjoy underwater swimming with
Aqua Explorers! Babies and toddlers just love being
in warm water — and it’s really good for them, too.
Parents and babies can begin Aqua Explorers just
as soon as you feel ready. We have no lower age
limit and even the smallest babies will be relaxed
in our warm baby pool. Our highly qualified and
experienced teacher will gently introduce your baby
to the underwater world, teaching you comfortable
and confident holding techniques whilst introducing
your child to water sensations. Your child will begin
to use natural reflexes to control and hold their
breath. Once your child has developed this skill,
we will show you how to smoothly guide your baby
under the water. Throughout the course your child
is treated as an individual and will develop skills and
confidence at a comfortable pace.

LITTLE TUMBLERS
Little Tumblers classes are the perfect introduction
for young children into gymnastics, as they are
tailored to your child’s requirements. The classes
are structured to make sure our gymnasts get the
maximum benefit from each session. What is more,
session structure helps children develop the skills
they need for nursery and school. Little Tumblers
sessions provide an engaging, fun and educational
experience, with every session they attend they will
learn new and important skills. These new skills
will help them when they progress into our classes
for older children and in any other sports they may
choose to explore.
Our Little Tumblers classes are instructed by British
Gymnastics pre-school qualified coaches. Each
session begins with a warm up, before gymnastics
based activities begin and a play session ends the
class. Gymnastics activities will take place on all
the equipment and your child will develop strength,
co-ordination, balance and spatial awareness in a
fun and safe environment.
We encourage our gymnasts to achieve each new
milestone, not just in terms of gymnastic capability,
but also social development. Whilst your child is
treated as an individual and encouraged to reach
their individual potential.
