Guidelines for the tenderer
Appendix 2.c contains a material specification for the Special Health Insurance Card, including its visual structure and properties.
The tenderer is not supposed to fill in or complete this appendix.
This appendix is not in its entirety a minimum requirement. However, requirements based on this appendix are also stated in appendix 3 and thus minimum requirements, cf. appendix 3. Reservations may not
be made to fundamental elements of other parts of this appendix, cf. clause 3.2.2.5 in the tender specifications.
Appendix 2.c - Material specification for the Special Health Insurance Card
This Appendix 2.c has been drawn up in pursuance of the Contract and shall form an
integral part thereof.

The Definitions shall apply to this Appendix 2.c.

Introduction
This Appendix 2.c sets out the material specification for the Special Health Insurance Card,
including its visual structure and properties. The material specification includes a description
of a blank card and a personalised Special Health Insurance Card.
The Special Health Insurance Card is structured in accordance with DS 2341; Identity Card;
Field layout and information contents (card type ID-1).
This material specification is a guideline. Reference is made to the interface description of
the Special Health Insurance Card, Appendix 2.g, for a description of the individual data
fields.
Reservations are made to requirements and options set out in the Requirements Specification, Appendix 3, in relation to the visual structure and properties of the Special Health Insurance Card.
A specimen cover letter (carrier) of the Special Health Insurance Card for distribution to the
Insured is set out in Appendix 2e. The paper quality of the cover letter shall be standard
quality.
