KIN GAMES CAPTAINS Job Description Organize and manage all aspects of UBC KIN Games Team Develop and implement a strategic vision for the KIN Games weekend and training/practice leading up to it Provide strong leadership to the UBC KIN Games team Coordinate the recruitment and selection of the UBC KIN Games team Oversee all programming, logistics, and budget details o Destination of KG 2018: University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB Liaise with KUS President (Juancho Ramirez) Qualifications Experience in event planning/project management Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to motivate and inspire others and lead by example Excellent communication skills: professional emailing/phoning, public speaking, word documents Demonstrates flexibility and problem solving skills Willingness to learn and teach others Previous experience with being a part of KIN Games Application & Position Details Position Available: Apply as a team of 2 or as an individual Position Length: May 2017 – April 2018 Location: University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB Event Duration: March 2018 (dates are to be determined) Application Deadline: April 16th, 2017 @11:59PM Interview Time Period: around April 17th - April 19th o (if necessary, alternate dates can be arranged) Contact: [email protected] (Juancho Ramirez) Note: This is a volunteer position.
