Rumwell Financial Services Ltd is an Advisory
company primarily covering the Devon and
Somerset area but with a national client base.
Our clients are a mixture of private individuals
and companies who understand that by
seeking our professional advice they can
make the most from their money. Our success

professionalism and impartiality, coupled with
a creative approach to financial planning and a
belief in a bespoke client service. We have over
40 years of experience in this sector, with high
level qualifications and specialisms to support all

HOW DO WE DO IT?
The objective is to best utilise your existing provision
and recommend and implement advice to assist you to
meet your financial goals. We then regularly review the
performance of those solutions to help you to remain on
track. In order to achieve this, we like to follow the process
set out below, which is broken down into six steps:

3. Research
4. Report with recommendations
5. Implementation - arranging products, services and
related actions
6. Ongoing review service
Each of these six steps in the process will
now be explained more fully.
Initial consultation:
The purpose of this is to identify your personal needs and
objectives, establish what benefits would result from using
our services, outline our associated costs and give you the
opportunity to appoint us.
This initial consultation will be provided free of charge and
without obligation.
Making sure we know you:
To best serve you, we need to know what you want and
need. This could involve your entire financial situation
or be more focused in relation to particular issues
you feel require attention. Either way, we will provide
comprehensive advice based on a review of your current
arrangements and circumstances.
Any or all of the following issues could form part of our
review service and we would agree this at the initial
consultation.

RECOMMENDATION
An objective assessment of your thoughts and feelings
towards risk and reward, and a complete review of existing
investments held, including the interest rates applicable on
cash deposits.
PENSIONS REVIEW & RETIREMENT PLANNING – ‘Do you
know what your retirement will look like?’
A review of existing pension arrangements, guidance on
generating income in retirement, including conventional
annuity purchase, investment linked annuities, capital
protected annuities, impaired life annuities & more.
PROTECTION REVIEW – ‘Safeguarding you and your loved
ones in case of the unexpected’
An assessment of any life or health protection policies
in place, the level of cover provided and any identified
shortfalls.
ESTATE PLANNING REVIEW – ‘making sure the right people
get the right money at the right time’
A review and assessment of the impact of Inheritance Tax
on your estate, and possible solutions to mitigate this.
LIFESTYLE FINANCIAL PLANNING – ‘a comprehensive
approach to help you picture and manage your financial life’
Creation and implementation of a strategy to enable you
to achieve your objectives, which may include solutions
for repayment of borrowing/mortgages, saving for school/
university fees or investing for other specified goals.
MORTGAGE AND LIABILITIES CHECK – ‘are you losing out
on a better way to finance your assets?’
A review and assessment of any current loans or debts,
considering interest rates, as well as any fees associated
with different arrangements.
Research:
Using the results of our analysis, we will then carry out
appropriate research on products, providers and funds to
enable us to identify the most suitable recommendations
to help you to achieve your personal financial needs and
objectives.
Report with recommendations:
We will present back to you our report detailing the results
of our research and personal recommendations. If required,
this will include specific product solutions that will support
you in achieving your personal needs and objectives.
Implementation:
This process only begins once we have your agreement
on the arrangements to be put in place. This involves
arranging investments or other products on your behalf,
as required, and may extend to implementing a specific
financial planning process, such as estate planning. We will
act as the intermediary between the product provider(s)
and you with a view to arranging the purchase of the Retail
Investment Products as we have agreed.
On Going Service:
An ongoing relationship with our clients has always
been integral to our business, as we believe that it adds
significant value to both individuals and businesses.
Dependent upon client circumstances the style and
frequency of the ongoing relationship may vary. The
main purpose of this is to monitor your ongoing position
to ensure that the products continue to meet your
requirements.
Through regular reviews we can also develop our planning
strategies over time to take into account your changing
circumstances and objectives as well as developments
in economic conditions, legislation (e.g. taxation etc),
regulation (e.g. new ideas and financial products).
IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES
& COSTS
Fees for the design, production and implementation of a
financial strategy are calculated as follows:IN RESPECT OF LUMP SUM AND SINGLE PREMIUM
INVESTMENTS:
The fee is calculated according to the size of the
transaction, as set out below:Initial fee:
• 3 to 5% of the first £150,000,
• 0 to 3% on the next £100,000 and
• 0 to 2 % on any balance
IN RESPECT OF REGULAR PREMIUM INVESTMENTS
The fee is calculated according to the size of the
transaction, as set out below:Initial fee:
• 100% of the first £250 of monthly premium (for a period
of 4 months)
• 60% of the next £500 of monthly premium (for a period
of 4 months)
• 20% over £750 on monthly premium (for a period of
4 months)
ON-GOING SERVICES & FEES:
Set out below are the detailed elements for the indicative levels of on-going service that we carry out with our clients.
You can if you wish to, add or enhance levels of service with your adviser if you feel appropriate. Our charges for these
