CIGRE WG C4.4.30 – EMC in Wind Energy Systems
Highlights of Recent Activity: Apr 2015 to May 2016




5th WG meeting was hosted by ABB in Vasteras, Sweden in Jun 2015. A
technical tour was also arranged by Ener Salinas (ABB) to the DELTA
EMC Test Center, the largest of its kind in Sweden.
A tutorial on EMC at the IEEE Symposium on EMC, Dresden, Germany
was given jointly with WG C4.31 and WG C4.32.
A very successful international colloquium was organised in
collaboration with C4 Brazil National Committee in March 2016 in
Curitiba, Brazil. The papers presented have been made available on eCIGRE.
6th WG meeting was hosted by Lactec, Brazil in March 2016. A technical
tour of selected Lactec research facilities was arranged by Patricio EM
Rojas of Lactec.
Future Activity:


7th WG meeting is scheduled to be held in South Africa in December 2016.
8th WG meeting (if necessary) is scheduled to be held in Dublin on 28
May and before the CIGRE Symposium, Dublin.
Other Items:

A new WG to focus on the EMC for Photovoltaic Systems has been agreed
by members of WG C4.30. This new WG will be convened by Ener Salinas,
who will be drafting the TOR.
