How it works This is a team-based challenge set up into three leagues so that employees across all fitness levels can compete fairly with employees at their same fitness level. • Grab five to seven coworkers in your same fitness level. • As a team, pick ONE league to join and compete in. Light, standard, and advanced workouts Vitality’s three levels of workouts account for increased intensity of daily workouts. Vitality awards 5 points for light, 10 points for standard and 15 points for advanced workouts. Self-reported workouts will not count towards this challenge. • Complete as many verified workouts as you can during the challenge period. Prizes • The team with the highest average workouts over the challenge period wins! The top five teams in each league, top individual on each team, and the team-voted MVP will earn prizes! Only verified workouts will count towards this challenge. No self-reported workouts will be accepted. Pick your league Be sure to pack your dugout with coworkers on your same fitness level when considering which league to join. • League I: Get in the game This league is for employees who will track mostly light workouts (and above) in Vitality. • The top team in each league earns one pair of MLB tickets per team member. • The top five teams in each league earn bonus Vitality Points. • The top individual on each team (regardless of final team ranking) earns bonus Vitality Points. • The team-voted MVP (voting instructions provided at end of challenge) earns bonus Vitality Points. © 2016 The Vitality Group M100-007 (2/5/16-12/31/16) • League II: Minor leaguers This league is for employees who will track mostly standard workouts (and above) in Vitality. • League III: Major leaguers Visit the Learning Center tab> Guide to Vitality> Vitality Points> Physical Activity to learn more about physical activity point-earning options. This league is for employees who will track advanced workouts only in Vitality. Visit amtrustamplify.com and click the Vitality Login button in the top right to access your Vitality account. All benefit-eligible employees are welcome to participate, regardless of whether you elect AmTrust health insurance. How to track your workouts No matter how you choose to be active, Vitality offers a variety of ways to track your physical activity. Depending on your preferences, you can choose to use a fitness device, a heart rate monitor, the Vitality Today app, log workouts manually using a gym log, or a smart phone app. You are welcome to use a variety of these methods throughout the challenge period. Keep in mind, self-reported workouts will not count towards this challenge.
