1. Objectives of the project – business case
Women are still playing a minor role in filling of top positions in
management and board of companies – despite
• The contribution of men and women based on their economic
and social education, competence and experience for companies
and organisations has – per se – an added value.
• The demand has increased to assign more qualified and
performance oriented people to the supervisory body
• A coherence between gender diversity on executive level and
the economic success of companies is obvious
• Due to the demographic development, organisations will and
must enhance their attractiveness for women with their
steadily increasing qualification
• Companies still ignore the fact that women are the decision
makers for consumer products or household investments
