ELECTRICITY TARIFF REVISION FOR THE PERIOD 1 APRIL TO 30 JUNE 2017
Singapore, 31 March 2017 – For the period from 1 April to 30 June 2017, electricity tariffs will increase
by an average of 6.1% or 1.20 cents per kWh compared to the previous quarter. The increase is

to the previous quarter.
For households, the electricity tariff will increase from 20.20 to 21.39 cents per kWh for 1 April to 30
June 2017. The average monthly electricity bill for families living in four-room HDB flats will increase
by $4.21 (see Appendix 3 for the average monthly electricity bill for different household types).
