Kenyan Premier League side Sony Sugar have
continued beefing up their squad in the transfer
window head of the 2015 season.
The club has signed up left back David Mwangi
from Mathare United and Vincent Ogutu from
Kakamega Homeboyz. Midfielder Nicholas Akoko
has also joined the Awendobased side after ditch
ing Kakamega based Western Stima. He joins Sony
alongside goalkeeper Kevin Omondi, formerly of
Nairobi City Stars.
Omondi is likely to deputise goalkeeper Jairus
Adira who stood between the goalposts last term
for Chemelil Sugar, conceding just 16 goals in 30
league appearances. Adira became Sony's first
acquisition last month.
Left back Mwangi, a Harambee Stars trialist
who starred for Mathare United last term and is
expected to continue with his good form at Awendo
as coach Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno prepares for an
intriguing camapaign.
