The first page comes with a few thoughts around each of the seven tips and
examples to help you better understand how to apply the tip to your life.
The second page is to be printed & filled out by you. Grab a nourishing drink and
take at least 30 minutes to ponder how you will use these ideas to BREATHE
through your holiday season. To keep things fairly simple and doable, narrow your
thoughts or action steps to a max of 3 per tip.

Be mindful of HOW you want to FEEL this season – or who you
choose to be. Select 3 words that clearly describe how you want
to feel and behave this season and check in with these
intentions daily. Let them guide all your decision making.
Recognize your emotional triggers & establish safeguards for
yourself. What tips you into anger, into bingeing on food or
alcohol, or into overspending? How can you either avoid these
triggers or prepare yourself so that you are less reactive?
Establish your top 3 priorities for the holidays & let go of the
rest. Discuss with your partner or family – which traditions or
experiences feel the most meaningful to you? Make time for
these and give yourself permission to opt out of the rest.
Allow space & time for purposeful self care. What are the 3
primary ways in which you will care for yourself over the
holidays. Some ideas: move your body daily; maintain a regular
sleep/wake cycle; book some days completely off work to rest.
