Copper Demon

Copper Demon
Copper Demons make more use of the Discard Pile
than most Demons. Drill Rocket does much more
damage than an attack of that level normally does,
but it runs the risk of discarding an important card.
Fortunately, Salvage can get cards back out of the
Discard Pile, making Weapons much more useful
than normal.
Copper Demons are very physically strong, but
despite that, they prefer to attack from a distance by
forging drills out of their double-jointed right arm.
There are several theories about the origin of this
strategy, but close examination of the right arm
shows that most of a Copper Demon’s strength is in
the joints, which are used to fire the drills. Copper
Demons have adapted their elbows to work like
ballistae, rather than normal levers. Life on Earth
still can’t do that.

Essential Copper Demon
Essential Copper Demons are much more
symmetrical than their Standard counterparts, and
much better suited for close-range fighting. Burnout
is a risky move, since it uses up a Fire Powerup for
good, but drawing three cards can give you an
incredible boost in power, depending on which cards
you draw. On the other side of the coin, Knockdown
does an impressive job of shutting down an
opponent, as long as that opponent isn’t using a
Weapon.
Essential Copper Demons radiate more heat than
Standard Copper Demons, which lets them keep
their body more solid. Normally this would slow
them down, but Essential Copper Demons are
somehow faster than their original forms. The
reason is still unknown.
No one has ever gotten a Copper Demon past
Essential form. It could be a long time before
anyone does.

Ore Supplement
Specials
Putting even more focus on the Discard Pile, Ore Supplement lets Copper Demons work
with Weapons more effectively. Used in combination with a Standard Copper Demon’s
Salvage attack, Re-Forge gives you almost complete control over your own weaponry,
since it uses a Weapon in your Discard Pile to get you a different Weapon from your deck.
