"Let Your Light Shine"
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Matthew 5:16
As Christians, it is important how people see you. You should not be one way at work, another
way at home, and then another way when you are at Church. It is essential for you to model
Christ wherever you go, and in every situation, because you do not know who is watching, and
how you will influence someone to serve the Lord. You should never let a situation take you out
of your character, but you should let the light of Christ shine bright in every situation you face in
your lives. When you can react to a negative situation in a positive way, it is your opportunity
to show Christ to those who may not know Him. The Scripture reminds us, "
Let your light so shine before men, that they will see your good works, and glorify your
Father which is in Heaven." I encourage you today to let your light shine even on aMonday. Let your light shine on your job,
and in your home. Let your light shine when things are going your way, and when things do not
work out the way you want them to. Let your light shine when people are nice to you, and even
when they are cruel to you. Let your light shine when you know people are watching you, and
even when you do not know they are watching you. In every situation you face in life, let your
light shine so people can see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. When the
praises go up the blessings will come down. Be a blessing in someone's life today by adding
some light in a dark situation.
No matter where I go, I will let my light shine so all can see the God in me.
Since I will always let my light shine, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing
From My God!"
