Team Managers Information
Squad Eligibilty and Rules:
• All squads to meet the requirements set out on the Squad Declaration form for each
competition, failure to do so may result in a disqualification or for partnership points to be
deducted.
• Please familiarise yourself with the rules for each competition that you have a squad in.
• Sports Organisers have total responsibility for the interpretation and enforcement of their
own NGB’s rules and regulations. Complaints (regarding the rules) should be directed to
your School Sport Manager who will refer the complaint to the Sports Organiser. This must
be done before the end of the competition. The Sports Organiser will be responsible for
deciding on the complaint.
• If there is still a dispute then an appeal may be made in writing to the Event Manager. Appeals must be made in writing and should be submitted to Event Control by the end of
the competition.
• Sports Organisers are responsible for determining the final results and placings for their
events. Their decision in each competition is final.
• Awards are presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams in each sport and out of courtesy
and good manners and where possible, schools are asked to stay for these presentations not all presentations will be on the main stage.
Supervision of Young People:
• Team Managers are responsible for the safety, welfare and good behaviour of all members
of their team.
• Please ensure all participants in your team have been allocated and are wearing their partnership T shirt throughout the day.
• Team Managers to supervise all members of their team at all times for the duration of
the Games. Under no circumstances must any child be allowed to leave the site, unless a prearranged collection has been approved by the School Team Manager.
• Please ensure you have all emergency contact and medical information for all members of
your team (Participant Registration Form) with you on the day of the competition.
• Team Managers are expected to bring their own first aid kit on the day of the competition. Staff may not necessarily be first aid trained, but must have access to a first aid
kit for a suitably qualified member of staff to administer minor first aid injuries.
• Please ensure all young people in your team are prepared for hot weather conditions - including bringing plenty of water, a sun hat and sun cream with their name on. (ideally SPF
50 or above)
