Service Levels and Associated Cleaning Areas
Service Level 0 - No Service will be provided.
Service Level 0 – Includes all rooms/areas categorized as: Hazardous material, mechanical,
storage, issue, stock, equipment, loading docks, environment control and rooms that the
university / building managers / facilities determines are not contractually cleaned.
Service Level 1- Service will be provided one day per week.
Service Level 1- Includes all rooms/areas categorized as: Offices, copy, file, mail, hallways
and vestibules that are not on the ground floor, research labs, conference, study, tutoring
offices, media production, open labs, service, meeting, and computing
Service Level 2- Service will be provided two days a week.
Service Level 2- Includes all rooms/areas categorized as: Library study rooms, weight and
activity
Service Level 3- Service will be provided three days a week.
Service Level 3- Includes all rooms/areas categorized as: Class labs, computer labs,
seminar, lounge, break, dining, kitchenette, recreational
Service Level 5- Service will be provided five days a week.
Service Level 5- Includes all rooms/areas categorized as: Restrooms, classrooms,
auditorium, theater, locker, shower and all ground floor hallways, entrances, vestibules,
stairs and elevator cars.

a. Clean and service rest rooms once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
b. Clean lobby and halls after both morning and afternoon coffee breaks, removing trash and spot vacuuming as required.
c. Sweep outside porches, patio, steps, and walkways, daily.

Check with Facilities Services' WCC office at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm for any work requests.
4.
Respond to emergency service calls as they are received during the day and perform the necessary duties.
5.
Deep clean the entrances, porches, fixtures, and steps of all the academic buildings on Campus using a rotating schedule so each
building is done once a month.
6.
Perform other duties as requested by the Facilities Services' WCC office.
7.
Pickup custodial supplies from Facilities Services' Stores and deliver them to the designated buildings.
8.
Child Care Development area sweep or blow the black top play area- Once a week
9.
Kerr Administrative Building, Room 100H, vacuum carpet in Cashier's Officer every Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m.
Provide mid-day RR cleaning and restock Monday thru Friday

The Valley Library – daytime schedule
Daily Schedule: subject to change to meet library program needs
Empty trash and stock restrooms across from JAVA II as needed
Spot clean the Lobby area between JAVA II and the restrooms.
Clean entrance door glass to the two (2) north main entrance doors (inside and out).
Clean outside the main entrance doors and the north outside patio.
Sanitize the east and west stair rails from 1st floor to 3rd floor.
Check and empty trash containers on all floors that deal with student study areas (public areas on floors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6)
After Lunch:
Empty trash in JAVA II. Spot mop if needed.
Empty trash and stock in restrooms across from JAVA II as needed
Empty trash and stock all restrooms on floors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6; cleaning any major messes.
Dust stacks. Keep moving through these stacks on those floors that have stacks throughout the week until all stacks have
been dusted. Then repeat.
When using the elevator monitor its condition. Spot walls and floor and track as needed.
Respond immediately to emergency clean-up calls from the Library staff.
Monitor public areas for large trash times at all times.
Report damage, unsafe situations, and maintenance items when noticed.
Check public areas and elevators frequently while continuing with other duties.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Continually dust all public areas.
