The Hasbrouck Heights Junior Football League will be holding its 2016 Season Registration
on Thursday, February 25th and Wednesday, March 9th from 6:00pm- 8:00pm
in the Senior Center at the Municipal Building.
AFTER MARCH 9TH CHEERLEADING REGISTRATION WILL BE CLOSED
This registration will be for Flag, Mighty Mite, Pee-Wee, Junior & Senior
Football Players & Cheerleaders
Football Requirements:
Flag: ages 5-6 by 9/01/16
Mighty Mite: ages 7 by 9/01/16
Pee-Wee: ages 8-9 by 9/01/16
Junior: ages 10-11 by 9/01/16
Senior: ages 12-13 by 9/01/16
Cheerleading
Flag: 1st Grade
Mighty Mite: 2nd Grade
Pee-Wee: Grades 3rd & 4th
Junior: Grades 5th & 6th
Senior: Grades 7th & 8th
All NEW participants must be permanent residents of Hasbrouck Heights

TERMS AND CONDITIONS (PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING)
1. I/We, the parents/guardians of the above-named candidate, hereby give my/our approval to participate in the Hasbrouck Heights Junior Football League’s Program and any and all Jr.
Football/Cheering activities, including transportation to and from the activities. I/We understand that all registration fees are non-refundable.
2. I/We know that participation in football or cheering may result in serious injuries and protective equipment does not prevent all injuries to players, and do hereby waive, release, absolve,
indemnify, and agree to hold harmless the local Jr. Football League, Meadowlands Jr. Football, the organizers, sponsors, supervisors, participants, and persons transporting my/our child
to and from activities from any claim arising out of any injury to my/our child whether the result of negligence or for any other cause. The League carries a limited medical insurance, which
is intended to supplement your primary insurance. In the event your child required medical attention resulting from a physical injury, a League Official must be notified immediately and our
insurance claim form completed and returned within 10 days of injury.
3. I/We agree to return upon request the uniform and other equipment issued to my/our child in as good conditions as when received except for normal wear and tear. If the uniform or
equipment is not returned, or damaged other than normal wear and tear, I will be responsible for it’s replacement cost.
4. I/we know that proper conduct is required by all participants. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Failure to meet this requirement will result in being removed from the
team/squad.
5. I/We understand that the League is a member of the Meadowlands Football League and abides by its regulations. All participants will adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by their
coaches.. In order to be eligible to play for their respective division, the candidate must not exceed the following weight limit: PeeWees: 105/115; Juniors: 125/145; Seniors: 145/165.
Official League Weigh-ins will be early part of September and all new players must furnish an original birth certificate to the candidate’s coach.
6. I/We agree that the candidate is a permanent resident of Hasbrouck Heights. I/we further agree to provide proof of legal residence and age. I/We understand that our child (candidate)
must be eligible under the residence and age regulations of Jr. Football League and Meadowland Football League, to participate in this Local League and that if any controversy arises
regarding residence and/or age, the decision of the Jr. Football League shall be final and binding.
7.I/we agree to have the above-named candidate change out of their uniform after their game. Candidates are not permitted to wear their uniforms after their game nor wear their uniforms
at any other time without the head coach’s permission.
8,. Concession stand is mandatory for all players unless buyout has been taken. If your 2016 concession stand duty is not completed, you will be charged an additional $50.00 fee and it
will be applied to the 2017 registration.
