Playschool Executive for your

wonderful ideas! Our playschool
would not be the success it is
without all of you!!
WOW! It is hard to believe it is June already! How fast the year went, especially these last few
months. It has been a wonderful year teaching your children and getting to know all the
families. As teachers, we look back on the year and think of how much the children have
learned and grown. Some may be heading off to the wonderful world of Kindergarten ready for
all the new challenges - we wish them well. If you are coming back to Playschool in the fall,
we are excited to have you for another year of learning, crafts and fun! New themes and new
friends await you.
IMPORTANT DATES
On our gym days this week we had Coach Steve & Coach Jeff visit our classes to teach the
children some soccer skills and play some fun soccer games…it was lots of fun!
Backwards Day: June 1st & 2nd we will do our schedule in reverse, count backwards, etc.
Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast: Thur June 15th at 9am & 1pm, and Fri June 16th at 9am
Year End Celebration: Fri June 16th at the HHBH CA Gym. Join us for pizza and
entertainment from 5-7pm
Last Day of classes: June 22nd & 23rd. Please join us for the last 30 mins of class for a few
songs, a slideshow and to receive your memory books and certificates.
THEME OF THE MONTH INFO
In May we had fun learning about pond animals and insects as well as celebrating Mother’s Day in our classroom.
Our Music and soccer days were lots of fun, as well as our Pajama Days!! The kids also enjoyed having the Grade
1 & 2 kids join us for reading buddies.
In June we will be learning about life in the desert, celebrating Father’s Day and winding down to our summer
holidays. If you pop your head in the back door of our classroom, you will see that our butterflies have spun their
cocoons and will be ready to hatch out in another week or so. June is a fun and exciting month for us all!
