Each registered athlete will get a GameTime
T-shirt and baseball cap. We will have a
scheduled practice day during the week, and
we will use Saturdays as our game days.
Practice days will be announced in March by
your designated coach. The season will be a 7week season over an 8-week period, and kids
are divided up according to their age. GameTime Training
Our desire is to teach kids how to throw the ball
correctly, how to grip the bat, and how to get in
sync with muscle memory. Our T-Ball season
will be designed around knowing the essentials
of baseball to better prepare them for success
in their future leagues — we also just plain have
fun! Game days will take place on Saturday
mornings, and we will have a practice day
scheduled in advance. Our baseball facility (the shed on the east side
of campus) will allow us to be more productive
with our hitting instruction, throwing, and
moving the athletes to hitting the ball live
instead of off a tee. Each athlete is different, but
having the opportunity to engage those that are
more advanced has its advantages. At the end of the day, GameTime Training is not
only about baseball but about a Christcentered focus. We desire to pour into your
young athlete, so that as they learn the game,
we can invest in their character on and off the
field.
Need to Knows:
Each athlete will need to bring
a baseball glove and a soft
t-ball for catching before and
after practice. Please put their
name on all items. Baseball
pants are available at your
local sporting good store and
are recommended.
