 Satan would not have fallen
 Adam & Eve would not have sinned
 The Pharisees would have
received Jesus as the Christ
What is humility?
l. To have a true estimate of yourself
before God
Proverbs 22:2 “Rich and poor have this in common:
The Lord is Maker of them all”
Rom. 12:3 “Do not think of yourself more highly than
you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober
judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith
God has given you”
What is humility?

Phil 2:3-5 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain
conceit. Rather, in humility value others above
yourselves, not looking to your own interests but
each of you to the interests of the others. In your
relationships with one another, have the same
mindset as Christ Jesus…”
False humility

abilities
1 Cor 4:7 “For who makes you different from
anyone else? What do you have that you did
not receive? And if you did receive it, why do
you boast as though you did not?”
Jesus: “Those who exalt themselves will be
abased, and those who humble
themselves will be exalted”
