Class Description: Geared toward 1st and 2nd year baseball players, this class is designed to help the young
ball player become more comfortable on the baseball field. Emphasis is placed on fundamental skill building
and general knowledge/rules of the game. In addition to the training players on the field (turf), “classroom
sessions” are implemented to help reinforce and reiterate what is being covered on the field. Players will also
work on improving their all-around athleticism by incorporating speed and agility drills into each session.
This 6-week class is a great opportunity for “rookie” ball players to work with our highly
knowledgeable and professional staff of instructors to develop their hitting, fielding and throwing skills in a
very structured, positive and high-energy environment. Wiffle ball games will also be played on a nightly
