bears
Bears clinics are designed to introduce children to golf. The first two, 1 hour classes cover full
swing, chipping and putting. Class three takes the participants on to the course for an ambrose
event. Children over 5 years of age are welcome.
tigers
Tigers clinics are for children with prior golf experience in the bears series or equivalent. With the
same fun and friendly manner as the bears clinics, the tigers clinics are slightly more advanced.
The tigers series is three, 1 hour classes. Class one and two are dedicated to practice and skills
testing, class three is on-course play. Children over 8 years of age, who have been to a bears
series, or equivalent, are welcome.
holiday camps
School holiday camps are for all juniors aged six and older, with or without previous golf
experience. The camp covers all aspects of golf including on-course play. Class sizes are restricted.
All players six years and above are welcome.

cadet membership
Marrickville Golf Club has membership categories for young players; cadet membership.
Cadet membership allows players to play at no charge for casual games. Club Professionals
Kylie and the Entire Golf team will monitor the cadets and when they display an
understanding of the rules of golf and the required golf course etiquette they will be
permitted to obtain an AGU handicap and join club competitions.
