It also recognises the role of measurement in this process and highlights links with the Clinical Commissioning Group Outcomes Indicator Set (CCG OIS). Information is presented in relation to the domains, improvement areas and indicators within the NHS Outcomes Framework and includes: Indicators in the current CCG OIS Indicators published on the NICE menu for consideration by NHS England for the 2014/15 CCG OIS. Quality standards published at 1st June 2014 Quality standards that will publish during 2014-15 There are a number of important limitations that need to be considered in this work: Quality standards are mapped at topic level: the specific statements within a quality standard may be considered to be more or less applicable to certain areas of the NHS OF. Cross domain improvements: quality standard topics ought to help ensure improvements across a range of domains, for example ensuring people have a positive experience of care and are cared for in a safe environment. However, only those topics with a specific focus or statements about experience or safety are mapped to domains 4 and 5. Mapping is a subjective process: the content of future quality standards cannot be anticipated. The mapping has been reviewed by NHS England domain directors and teams to provide a certain level of quality assurance to this subjectivity. Quality standards that publish from April 2015 onwards have not been mapped to the NHS OF but are listed for reference. This document is likely to become outdated as plans and schedules for publication of quality standards are updated. The document will be updated on a 6 monthly basis with the next update due in December 2014.
