EDC Competitive Teams 2018 - Audition Information
ELITE LITE (Pre-Competitive) AUDITIONS – MONDAY, JUNE 19
Elite Lite is our Pre-Competitive Program. This audition is suitable for students who have completed 2+ years in
the EDC Recreational Program (or equivalent) and are looking to begin their competitive journey.
Dancers are asked to wear proper dance attire. For the Hip Hop audition, dancers must have runners/indoor
boots. Please bring all necessary dance shoes. If dancers have not taken a certain type of dance before, they will
still be asked to audition in that dance genre. Students will be taught a dance combination in each audition. There
is time for a nutrition break at 7:00.

TEAM ELITE (Full Competitive) AUDITIONS – WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21
Team Elite is our full competitive team. This audition is for students who are current Team Elite members, dancers
who are graduating from our Elite Lite Pre-Competitive program, dancers who are graduating from the EDC Mini
program or who are transferring from another full competitive team.
Dancers are asked to wear proper dance attire. For the Hip Hop audition, dancers must have indoor
runners/indoor boots and for the Tap Audition, dancers must have tap shoes. Please bring all necessary dance
shoes. If dancers have not taken a certain type of dance before, they will still be asked to audition in that dance
genre. Students will be taught a dance combination in each audition. There is time for a nutrition break at 7:00.
