After the additions yesterday, the total number on the current football squad stands at 53. The signings yesterday included: Alessandro Cantillo Ferguson DE 6'0 265 Cantillo on coming to Keiser, "They have a new program coming up so it means they have something special going on. They are focused on bringing kids in from Florida and Keiser can really compete at a high level. That is what sparked my interest in coming here. Off the field, he was in the IB program for four year and finished with a 4.30 GPA. Athletically he was named Miami-Dade County All Star, Second Team all Miami-Dade county and Spirit of the Falcon Recipient at John A. Ferguson. Camron Allen Wellington DE 6'0 230 Allen stated on Keiser, "I love the school and the new football program. I have a feeling we have a chance to be a powerhouse in the future. Allen led his team to a District Champions as a senior and earned the DRock as a senior. Christopher Morakis Park Vista OL 6'4 290 Morakis said on picking Keiser, "Coach Socha and the success behind him in the past and the coaching staff at Keiser. It is also local to where I grew up." Off the field, he was a part of the spirt emotion program where the players are teamed up with special needs students. Corey Lamy Atlantic High DT 5'10 290 Lamy on choosing Keisr, "It means a lot of me. I like that my family can come out and watch me play so that is nice as well." Off the field, he was on the A/B Honor roll and made the Sun Sentinel first team defense as well as the Palm Beach County first team defense. He was an honorable mention for All-State defensive team. Dante Trott Boynton High OL 6'4 300 Trott said on coming to Keiser, "It was close to home and a new program and wanted to be apart of history. Coach Socha is a good coach and has a great coaching staff to be a championship team." Donovan Hinds Coral Springs OL 5'9 250 Hinds on choosing Keiser, "It is close to home and nothing beats South Florida talent, and it is the best place to be." Hinds was a year four-year varsity starter and was named Sun Sentinel All-County. Evan Hogan Wiregrass Ranch OL 6'2 300 Hogan on choosing Keiser, "It is a good school and I want to be a part of something special here. I also want to help build something special here at Keiser." Hogan was a three-year varsity starter for Wiregrass Ranch HS. Isaac Adonis Wellington DE 6'2 245 Adonis said on Keiser, "I heard they had a new football team and it made me excited to play here. AllCounty and All-Area during his senior year. Jeremiah Guillaume Santaluces OL 6'2 270 Guillaune said on picking Keiser, "It is close to home and the coaches are great people." Jeremiah earned the Coaches award as a senior. Jermaine Wilson Somerset Academy LB 5'11 200 Wilson said on Keiser, "I felt it would be a good opportunity for me to restart my football career." Third Team All-Broward…Captain in the private vs public All-Star game….Honor Roll in 2015 Jonathan Santos Park Vista WR 5'11 160 Santos said on KU, "It is close to home and I felt very comfortable with the coaching staff." Santos was named First Team All-Conference as a senior and Second Team All-County as a junior. He also played in the North vs South All-Star game. Kade Glenn Jenson Beach DB 5'10 170 Glenn said on Keiser, "The coaches gave me the opportunity to play football and it is the best school for me right now." For the past two years, Glenn attended Indian River State College but didn't play. Kemar Downer FAU ATH 5'11 200 Downer on choosing Keiser, "It means a lot. I really love that I am playing here. It doesn't matter where you play ball, as long as you put in the work and show that you can do anything you put your mind to. I am here to get a good education and play a sport I love." Off the field, he made the honor roll. On the field, he earned second team all-state, first team all-county. Luckaad Dorsainvil Atlantic High DE 5'11 240 Dorsainvil said on choosing Keiser, "I wanted to get a better education and be something great when I grow-up. I also want to try something new and get better at football each and every day" Marcelino Charles Naples RB 5'7 170 Charles on choosing Keiser, "It was a great fit for me not only athletically but also academically. Charles was a three-time weightlifting champion in HS. Off the field, he was the FCA Leadership president. Pedro Vazquez Hollywood Hills LB 5'9 185 Vasquez said on choosing Keiser, 1. "It means the world to me. I just needed a home to play football and I didn't want to go far away. This is easily the best opportunity I could have had." Queintavious Bean Palm Beach Lakes DB 5'7 170 Bean said on Keiser, "I felt it was a better opportunity for me now and I am grateful for the chance to play football still." Sage Chen Young Wellington DB 5'9 150 Chen-Young on choosing the Seahawks, "It is a new football program and you can make an impact right away from day one. Also everyone is new and have a chance to make great relationships for the rest of your life." Shavon Taylor West Boca WR 5'8 170 Taylor on picking Keiser, "It is a nice campus, a new organization, and it is close to home. Taylor was named First Team All-Conference as a senior. Steve Norton Palm Beach Lakes OL 6'0 290 Norton said on Keiser, "I wanted to stay at home and be able to have my family at the game and to make a legacy." Zander Bernard Boynton Beach RB 5'8 190 Bernard on picking the Seahawks, "The coaching staff made me feel really comfortable from the start." Bernard was a State Champion in weightlifting and was named the NFTC MVP. Lastly, he attended the Nike Opening.
