ANGUS YOUNG

THINGS ABOUT ANGUS
He was born on the 31st march 1955 in
Glasgow, Scotland. In 1963 (he was aged 8)
he emigrated to Sydney in Australia. Angus
never really had a good guitar until 1970
when he bought a second hand Gibson SG
from a guitar shop just down the road from
were he lived and he didn’t stop playing it.
HOW
CAME TOGETHER
Before Angus was in ACDC, he was in a local
band named Kantuckee. When Angus was
18, his older brother Malcolm formed the
band ACDC (in 1973) with Angus as the lead
guitarist.
HIS TIME WITH
• Their first album was released on the 17th
February 1975. The album was called High
Voltage. After 3 years they considered
themselves a popular hard rock band.
They did soundtracks for films and their
first album lead to around 4 more albums.
WHY HE IS MY HERO
He is my hero because I like his solos and his
songs in whole . His gibson SG looks really
nice and I like how he dresses on stage.
