Rationale for Existence:
The Economic Planning Users Group (EPUG) is a forum through which MISO staff, stakeholders
and other interested parties shall engage to enhance and streamline modeling and study efforts
pertaining to MISO economic transmission planning. With a focus on technical issues, the EPUG
is formed to provide input and advice on the process, quality, and integrity of the MISO economic
modeling and planning studies. The Economic Planning Users Group reports to the Planning
Advisory Committee (PAC).
