His electric bill is $40 a month, his phone bill is $70 a month, his car payment is $200 a month and he gives his mom and dad $200 a month to help them out. How much does Carlos have left for his food, clothes, laundry, and car gasoline, repair bills and car insurance? What’s Carlos’ budget? $ 1,224 - $500 - $40 - $70 - $200 - $200 = $214.00 for the month OR $53.50 a week What if Carlos had gone to college? If Carlos had gone to college, graduated and gone to work in Taco Bell’s headquarters, he would be making a lot more money.
