Specifications (suggested reading in conjunction with the plans):
This lodge is 860sqm in size.
It consists of 2 open plan areas. There is an open plan kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped and the
scullery has upmarket appliances. A large fireplace serves this area. The second open plan consists of the games
room, bar and lounge. This area also has an internal braai at the bar area. The lounge has a plasma screen, dstv
and dvd player with surround sound. A 360-degree fireplace and guest bathroom serves this area. 2 large stacking
folding doors open up onto the wooden deck with an undercover patio. Furthermore there is a rim-flow swimming
pool, covered Jacuzzi and a boma with fully stocked wood. You are literally a stones-through away from the
Crocodile River with the Kruger National Park across the river. Game viewing from the deck will be superb.
A unique feature to this property is an underground wine cellar. A staircase leads you to an old-school cellar with 3
authentic wine barrels that sets the mood. Part of the service of DJ Syndico will be a full range of white and red wines
at your disposal. There is also an authentic dining table and only candle lights.
This lodge has 5 separate bedrooms with full en-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom has a fire place and airconditioning. 2 of the bedrooms will have double beds and 3 bedrooms will each have 2 single beds. Each bedroom
has its own private balcony. This lodge can accommodate 10 people.
There is an undercover parking area for 4 vehicles. The lodge is self catering and you have your own game drive
vehicle, game ranger and home attendant at your disposal.

Because Mjejane Game Reserve is situated in the Kruger National Park, the standard park fees are payable per person per day. Should this be a swapped week this fee will be billed to your normal levy account. If you rent this property, this fee will be additional to your daily rate and payable prior to arrival. You can also use your “Wild Card” that can be obtained from the National Parks Board.
Please note that there will only be 2 (two) drives a day (Morning & Late Afternoon) and NO night drives.
Game Drives are being charged at R5 per kilometre. It is expected that each visitor must sign the game drive vehicle logbook’s opening and closing balance in conjunction with the game ranger. Should this be a swapped week this fee will be billed to your levy account. If you rent this property, this fee will be additional to your daily rate and will be deducted of your deposit.
It is expected to tip the Game Ranger and the Home Attendant. This fee should be paid directly to the Game Ranger and the Home Attendant during your stay.
Wines from the wine cellar that has been consumed during your stay.

Wood is supplied at R20.00 per bundle should the limit of 2 bundles be exceeded.
Check-in and Check-out
The check in time is at 4pm on your date of arrival and 10am on your date of departure. If your departure date is
on a Sunday you can check out at anytime just before the gate closes which is at 8pm, if later check out is required
please arrange it with the Lodge Manager.
Upon your arrival at the Reserve entrance you will have to sign an indemnity and the location of the lodge will be
pointed to you. Upon your arrival at the lodge the Game Ranger will greet you. Please note that a second indemnity
needs to be signed with the Game Ranger for each individual staying at the lodge.

Rules and Regulations
•
Smoking inside the lodge and in the game drive vehicle is not allowed.
•
As the property is situated in a nature reserve, only discreet music is allowed until 10pm. No music of any nature will be allowed thereafter. The same applies to voices. Voices in a remote area and near water travel far and it are expected to keep noise levels to a minimum. It is after all the reason for visiting the bush - to admire the tranquillity.

No visitor is allowed to drive the game drive vehicle. Only the game ranger has the authority of the Estate and National Parks Board to drive the vehicle in Mjejene Game Reserve and in the Kruger National Park.
No game drives may be conducted by private vehicle. Travelling by personal vehicle is only allowed from the Estate entrance to the lodge and back.

The game drive vehicle is not allowed on a public road and travelling outside of Mjejane and Kruger National Park should be done by private vehicle.

Only 2 sessions of game drives are allowed per day. There is a 3 hour and 6 hour game drive session available.
•
Home Attendants may not wash personal clothes. Washing machine and tumble dryer are at your disposal.
•
Only 10 persons are allowed on the game drive vehicle
•
No pets are allowed on the Estate.
•
A R1000 fee applies on late check-out.
•
A R1000 fee if the keys have not been returned to the Game Ranger or the Entrance of Mjejane upon your departure.

The swimming pool has a safety net. Once the safety net has been taken off the swimming pool it is the
visitor’s responsibility to manage the safety of children and all parties staying in the property. The owner,
share holders, managing agent, service provider, exchange and rental agent can not be held responsible for
the safety of visitors.

When making a fire at the external boma or in the internal fireplaces it is expected that the visitor take into consideration that the roof structure is thatched and can easily catch fire. Therefore the fire made may not exceed 1m in height and the fire must be put out before leaving the lodge or when going to bed. Special care should be taken when it is a windy evening.

Because this lodge is situated in a reserve where the Big 5 roam freely, special care should be taken. The lodge is fenced off with electrical fencing.
•
This is a privately owned lodge and the owners requested you to thoroughly enjoy all the benefits that this lodge has to offer, but also to treat the lodge with the necessary respect as if it was your own.

Home attendant’s working hours is from Mondays – Fridays from 07:30am – 3pm and Saturdays from
07:30am – 11am.
Optional Extra: Sundays it will be R180.00 plus travel expense of R100.00 and Public Holidays R230.00 plus travel
of R100.00 per day.
A minimum of 48 hours notice plus vehicle registrations numbers needs to be given to the Lodge Manager upon your
arrival so that access can be arranged for you at the gate.
