Ladies Night Out: The Ladies Friendship Circle will be hosting a night out at the
Rodeside Grill in Windsor this Thursday May 16th. The group will meet at 6:30 PM at
the restaurant. All ladies are invited to attend. Please sign-up at the back of church to

New Ladies Bible Study, Saturday May 18th at What’s Brew’n Coffee Shop in Sun Prairie
(3140 Edmonton Dr ,Sun Prairie Off of highway 19, behind Gus’ Diner)
8:00 AM Coffee & fellowship, 9:00 AM Bible Study: This new Bible study will follow the
8 AM Coffee group at What’s Brew’n Coffee Shop in Sun Prairie. The first topic will be
“Women of the Bible”. The group will then decide on future topics. Plan to enjoy some
coffee and fellowship time followed by a ladies Bible study.
Lawn Mowing Volunteers: Lawn mowing season is beginning and we are still in
need of additional adults to mow. Training is provided. There are two riding mowers
and a push mower. Mowers work in teams of 2 and rotate weekly.
Please consider helping to keep our church grounds looking good. Sign-up at the
back of church.
Bus for the LWMS Convention: If anyone in the Milwaukee/Madison area and west toward La Crosse is
planning to attend the convention in June, but doesn't feel like making the drive, the bus
from Milwaukee is looking for 10 more riders. The bus is leaving Wednesday
afternoon in order to go on the Thursday morning tours. The cost for round trip
transportation is $115. Give the Central Office a call for more information! The central
office number is 414-321-6212.
July 31: LoL Choir sings at the Madison Mallard’s Game. Game starts at 7:05 AM, Pregame tailgate party at 5:35. Mark your calendars! Ticket price including tailgate party is $16
each. Pre-order your tickets starting June 1st at the church office.
(For each ticket sold, the Mallard’s will make a $2 donation to LoL.)

Potential Volunteers Needed: We are in need of an updated list of possible volunteers to assist
with set-up, serving, and clean-up for funeral meals. Volunteers can be men, women or teenagers.
The time will vary depending on the funeral and the volunteers availability.
These meals occur downstairs of church usually over the lunch hour, both weekdays as well as
weekends. Food for the meals would be catered in but volunteers are needed to set-up, serve and clean up after.
Volunteers would be informed of the date and times they are needed and asked to respond if they are available.
We have many signed up in the congregation as possible volunteers, but would like to update our list as
people’s circumstances and availability change.
Please see the sign-up sheet at the back of church and let us know your availability. You can also contact the
church office. No skills are required. Just a desire to serve others during their time of loss.
For many, this is simply signing up again - but we hope to have some new names added also.
