EMBED YOUTUBE VIDEO IN POWERPOINT
1. First turn on the Developer Tab on the Ribbon by clicking on the Microsoft logo at the
top left of the window.
2. Select PowerPoint Options at the bottom of the menu.
3. Next, put a check next to the unchecked item to show the Developer Tab.
4. Go to YouTube and select a video to embed.
5. Copy the URL address.
6. On the Developer menu choose
“More Controls”.
7. Select “Shockwave Flash Object”. Click OK.
8. Click and drag on the PowerPoint slide to add the Flash Object.
9. Right-click the object placeholder and select “properties”.
10. Paste the URL address to “Movie” in Properties and In the URL, delete “watch?” and
change the = sign to /.
11. Adjust the options for “Looping” or “AutoPlay” if desired.
